Every GENEX project starts with your pallets, your forklifts and your building - not with a catalogue. We calculate loads, check clear heights and aisle widths, then specify a racking system that fits how your warehouse actually operates.
Measured surveys and CAD layouts matched to your material handling equipment.
Uprights, beams and decking selected for verified unit loads and bay capacities.
Trained crews install, level and anchor racking with load signage at handover.
Periodic rack inspections and damage repairs to keep your system compliant.
GENEX Racking Solutions UAE designs, supplies, installs and maintains warehouse storage systems for warehouses, factories, logistics centers, retail stores and distribution facilities across the Emirates.
From selective pallet racking and heavy duty shelving to cantilever racking, drive-in systems and multi-level mezzanine racking, we engineer each layout to maximize cubic storage, improve picking workflow and protect your people and inventory - giving local and international buyers one accountable partner from first drawing to final inspection.
One team, one point of contact and one responsibility chain - from concept layout to long-term rack safety.
We review pallet sizes, unit loads, SKU profile, throughput and building constraints, then prepare a layout that balances storage density with access.
Uprights, beams, bracing, decking, safety accessories and mezzanine structures supplied to the approved specification and delivered to site.
Installation crews assemble, plumb, level and anchor every frame, fit beam locks and protection, and display load notices before handover.
Scheduled inspections, damage reporting and component replacement keep capacity ratings valid as your operation grows or reconfigures.
Eight proven racking families, each specified to your load data, handling equipment and stock rotation rules.
The most versatile system: every pallet is directly accessible, with beam levels adjustable on a fixed pitch for changing load heights.
Reinforced uprights and box-section beams for steel stock, machinery parts, tyres and bulk goods with high unit loads.
Two selective runs placed back-to-back in depth, reducing aisles and increasing pallet positions within the same footprint.
Forklifts drive into storage lanes on rail-supported levels - the highest static density for large quantities of few SKUs and cold rooms.
Rack-supported multi-tier picking floors with staircases, handrails and loading gates that multiply usable area without extending the building.
Column-and-arm structures with no front uprights, ideal for long or bulky items such as pipes, steel bars, timber and profiles.
Clean, modular shelving for supermarkets, hardware stores and showrooms that combines product presentation with back-up stock storage.
Inclined roller tracks with speed controllers move pallets from the loading face to the picking face, guaranteeing first-in, first-out rotation.
The best system is decided by three questions: how many SKUs you hold, how many pallets per SKU, and whether stock must rotate first-in, first-out. Use this comparison as a starting point before your layout review.
| System | Pallet Access | Storage Density | Rotation | Typical Equipment | Ideal Application |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Selective Pallet Racking | 100% direct | Standard | Any | Counterbalance, reach truck | Mixed SKUs, 3PL, general distribution |
| Heavy Duty Racking | 100% direct | Standard | Any | Heavy-capacity forklifts | Steel, machinery spares, building materials |
| Double Deep Racking | Front pallet direct | High | LIFO | Double-deep reach truck | Medium SKU count, 2+ pallets per SKU |
| Drive-In Racking | Lane based | Very high | LIFO | Forklift entering lanes | Beverages, cold storage, seasonal bulk |
| Gravity Pallet Racking | Lane based | Very high | FIFO | Forklifts at load and pick faces | Food, pharma, date-sensitive stock |
| Cantilever Racking | Full front access | Medium | Any | Side loader, forklift, crane | Pipes, timber, profiles, steel bars |
| Mezzanine Racking | Manual, multi-level | High (vertical) | Any | Picking staff, lifts, conveyors | Spare parts, e-commerce fulfilment |
| Display Racking | Manual, front facing | Low-medium | Any | Hand picking | Retail stores, showrooms |
Final capacities, bay sizes and aisle widths depend on your pallet loads, forklift specification and floor slab - always confirm with a site-specific design.
Racking is a structural system. Our design and installation workflow follows widely adopted international references - including European racking standards such as EN 15512 (design), EN 15620 (installation tolerances) and EN 15635 (use and maintenance) - adapted to UAE site conditions and authority requirements.
Beam level and bay loads calculated from actual pallet weights, including pallet self-weight and load distribution.
Floor slab, baseplate anchoring, sprinkler clearance and forklift lift height reviewed before final layout approval.
Stairs, handrails, floor loading and egress planned to support local municipality and Civil Defence approvals.
As-built layout, load notices and user guidance provided so your team operates the system safely from day one.
Practical lessons our team applies on every installation - details that rarely appear in a product brochure but decide whether a racking system performs for years.
The usable top beam level is set by the lowest obstruction - sprinkler heads, lighting, ducts or roof trusses - plus safe handling clearance above the top pallet. Surveying this early prevents costly redesigns.
Forklift impacts concentrate on the bottom metre of uprights and aisle ends. Column guards, end-of-aisle barriers and adequate aisle widths are the most cost-effective safety investment.
Selecting frame heights, beam pitches and aisle layouts that can be reconfigured lets you add levels or switch systems as SKU mix and volumes grow - without replacing the whole installation.
Racking specifications differ by sector. We match system type, finish and accessories to the way each facility moves goods.
Flexible selective and double deep layouts for changing customer inventories.
Heavy duty and cantilever racking for raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
High-density drive-in and gravity systems that keep inbound and outbound flows moving.
Display racking and back-of-store shelving that present products and hold reserve stock.
Combined pallet and picking zones designed around order profiles and dock layouts.
Mezzanine racking and shelving that turn floor area into multi-level, fast-pick zones.
Overseas buyers and project managers save weeks by sharing the right data at the start. With these six inputs, our engineers can prepare an accurate concept layout and system recommendation.
Dimensions (e.g. 1200 x 1000 mm) and maximum loaded weight per pallet.
Height to the lowest obstruction, plus column grid and door positions.
Truck type, maximum lift height and minimum working aisle width.
Number of SKUs, pallets per SKU and daily inbound / outbound movements.
Slab thickness, concrete grade and any joints affecting anchoring.
Floor plan or CAD file, required go-live date and any phasing needs.
GENEX supplies selective pallet racking, heavy duty racking, double deep pallet racking, drive-in racking, gravity (pallet flow) racking, cantilever racking, mezzanine racking and retail display racking, together with layout design, installation, inspection and maintenance services.
Choose selective racking when you store many different SKUs and need direct access to every pallet. Double deep racking suits medium SKU counts with at least two pallets per SKU and requires double-deep reach trucks. Drive-in racking gives the highest static density for few SKUs held in large quantities, operating on a last-in, first-out basis.
Yes. GENEX handles the full project cycle: site survey, load and aisle-width analysis, layout drawings, supply of load-rated components, installation by trained crews, load signage at handover, and ongoing inspection and maintenance.
Provide pallet dimensions and maximum loaded weight, clear building height below sprinklers and lights, floor slab details, forklift model with maximum lift height and required aisle width, the number of SKUs, expected throughput and a floor plan or CAD drawing of the building.
International guidance such as EN 15635 recommends a documented inspection by a technically competent person at least every 12 months, plus frequent in-house visual checks by trained staff. Damaged uprights or beams should be unloaded and repaired immediately.
